first impression...

Just got my Chameleon Hybrid Mini, V2L, and MIL and I'm having great results... I live on the first floor of a condo, so I sneak out at night and set everything up on the tripod and run the cable in my basement window... set up and break down take about 5 minutes, so no complaints there... I live in Massachusetts and have gotten reports of 59 on the west coast, the gulf coast and parts of Canada already... I'm very impressed with the antenna's performance so far... Carl was very helpful when I was contemplating buying and after I purchased it... I would recommend this company to anyone... I look forward to participating in the Chameleon Net sometime soon...

Just want to update on how impressed I am with this set up... I am rookie at HF so maybe it's boring to you guys but it is pretty exciting to me (hahaha)... I'm running a Yaesu FT-897D with the antenna mentioned above... Portable operation is much better than my base operation, which is basically portable operation at my condo (lots of noise at my condo, still working on grounding it better)... anyway, when taken on hilltops and at the oceanfront in my area (Boston, MA area), I have been able to reach Poland, England, Brazil, Venezuela, and Hawaii (5081mi on 40m)... all reported I was 5/5 or better and they were all +10, +20 on my end... Great product Carl!!!
