Agree 100% with Carl, having broken a V1 base with a well known manufactures 102" steel whip. I think it was too heavy and the whip really whips around with the slightest breeze, and I did not add extra support to the base element. ? Enclose in pvc or wrap lots of electical insulation tape around especially near the top and towards the bottom or better yet if you have some additional beer money buy the CHA mil-whip which I ended up doing, it is a lighter and not subject to to going " limp and whippy" in the slightest breeze.  Good luck.
