Mounting the hybrid on a mast (without the jaw)

    Does anyone have any method to mount the hybrid's 3/8-24 male thread onto an antenna mast, but not use the jaw?  The hybrid body appears to be too wide to fit onto a typical L shaped mast mount made for a whip antenna.

    http://www.repdesign.us/) AMB-Bkt-Mast-D2.0 .  I then purchased a bulkhead 3/8x24 from a vendor that had large nuts on it that would keep firmly tightened against the mount.  I also purchased a counterpoise ring from www.repdesign.us and added hamsticks.  Its working quite well for me. Here is a pix without the hamsticks yet attached but with the counterpoise ring attaced to the antenna mount itself.  Enjoy!
