V11 and ground radials

I have a V11 mounted vertically and am going to add a Mil whip to the top portion of the antenna to gain some more height. My question is if the addition of ground radials would help when using the CADMIT mount on a military surplus aluminum mast. I plan on mounting then to a guy wire ring between two of the mast sections.
