Vehicular HF Antenna
3.5-30 MHz
The CHA V1L antenna is a rugged multiband HF mobile antenna that can be erected in a minimum of time and space. The antenna must be used in conjunction with either the CHA HYBRID or the CHA CAUM to perform adequately. An external antenna tuner is also required.
An 8’10” whip made of 7075 alloy and stainless steel, consisting of two screw together sections, will be mounted atop of the selected base unit. All exposed metallic surfaces are either aluminum anodized or stainless steel. The core of the V1L antenna is made of aerospace 7075 alloys tubing.
VEHICULAR MOTIONLESS OPERATION (Stationary vehicle)
To increase the performance of the antenna between 1.8-7.5 MHz the CHA V1L can be used in conjunction with the optional CHA MIL as an upper V1L section replacement. The CHA MIL will add 10’8” to the V1L lower section.
6M, 2M & 70CM
If the V1L element is used without the base in a stand-alone mode it will cover 6M, 2M & 70CM.
