Vehicular HF Antenna
3.5-30 MHz
The CHA V2L is a rugged multiband HF antenna designed for smaller vehicle. The antenna must be used in conjunction with either the CHA HYBRID or the CHA CAUM to perform adequately. An external antenna tuner is also required.
A 6’8” whip made of 7075 alloy and stainless steel, consisting of two screw together sections, will be mounted atop of the selected base unit. All exposed metallic surfaces are either aluminum anodized or stainless steel. The core of the V2L antenna is made of aerospace 7075 alloys tubing.
VEHICULAR MOTIONLESS OPERATION (Stationary vehicle)
To increase the performance of the antenna between 1.8-7.5 MHz the CHA V2L can be used in conjunction with the optional CHA MIL as an upper V2L section replacement. The CHA MIL will add 10’8” to the V2L lower section.
6M, 2M & 70CM
If the V1L element is used without the base in a stand-alone mode it will cover 6M, 2M & 70CM.
