What to prepare for a technical case

Complete information and useful images usually reduce the number of emails needed to diagnose an antenna-system problem.

Complete antenna system

Product, transformer or feed point, radiator, support, accessories, counterpoise, radials and grounding.

Radio, power and tuner

Radio model, actual transmit power, mode and the exact location of any tuner, coupler, amplifier or meter.

Feed line and deployment

Coax type and length, adapters, chokes, height, orientation, nearby objects, terrain and ground conditions.

Measurements and evidence

Exact frequencies, SWR or analyzer readings, where they were measured, plus clear photos or a short diagnostic video.

What happens

Describe the precise symptom, when it occurs and what result you expected.

What you already tried

List CKB articles, manual steps, substitutions and configuration changes so the team does not repeat your work.
