Since 2008, Chameleon Antenna has developed rugged, modular antenna equipment for amateur-radio operators, emergency communicators, field teams, and government users who need practical deployment options—not one-size-fits-all promises.
OUR APPROACH
The antenna is only one part of a working station.
Feed line, matching, mounting, counterpoise, deployment geometry, operating mode, power, and the local environment all affect results. We design and document equipment as part of a system so operators can choose deliberately, deploy safely, and understand the limits of each configuration.
Field-ready by design
Portable equipment should pack efficiently, deploy repeatably, and stand up to real handling. Our product development starts with the work an operator must perform in the field.
Modular by intent
MPAS READY products create documented paths between radiators, matching units, mounts, supports, and accessories. A shared connector establishes physical fit; the completed configuration establishes whether a combination is appropriate.
Evidence before claims
Official manuals and current controlled product records govern specifications. Mode, duty cycle, installation, and the lowest-rated component govern safe power—not a headline number by itself.

Chameleon designs and manufactures its antenna systems from Sparks, Nevada, using domestic machining, fabrication, assembly, and materials where specified. The store also carries selected partner products; each product page identifies the applicable manufacturer and documentation.
Our equipment serves individual radio amateurs as well as emergency, training, expedition, public-safety, and military applications. Those users have different requirements, so our guidance separates documented capability from physical compatibility and unverified assumptions.
