Wire Antennas brings together complete wire antennas, replacement wire sets, linked and add-on elements, and documented wire configurations for portable, emergency, recreational, and base-station use. The collection includes designs that can be deployed as dipoles, end-fed systems, loops, slopers, inverted arrangements, or other guide-approved geometries.
Choose by topology first. Compare supported bands, overall and section length, feedpoint location, transformer or matching method, balanced or unbalanced operation, tuner requirement, power and duty cycle, available support height, ground clearance, feed-line routing, and the amount of field space available. A mast that supports a light section of wire may not be approved to carry a heavy feedpoint or matching assembly. Installation geometry changes impedance and radiation behavior, so follow the documented configuration, keep conductors clear of people and power lines, and tune or verify the antenna in its final deployed position.
