YAGI
Field selection guide
Choose from Yagi
The Yagi collection contains portable directional VHF/UHF antennas and related components for operators who need more signal in a chosen direction. A Yagi can improve communication with a repeater, station, satellite path, search area, or field team by concentrating its response along the boom rather than distributing it equally in every direction.
Compare operating band, usable bandwidth, element count and order, gain, polarization, feed-point connection, power, boom support, transport method, assembly sequence, and safe clearance. Direction and polarization matter: rotate and aim the antenna for the intended signal path, and keep the elements clear of people, structures, power lines, and conductive obstructions. Portable elements must be installed in the correct sequence and fully secured before use. Follow the current product guide and begin testing at low power while confirming direction, SWR, and feed-line routing.
