VERTICAL ANTENNAS

Field selection guide

Choose from Vertical Antennas

Vertical Antennas contains complete or near-complete portable vertical systems designed for operators who want a compact ground footprint, quick field deployment, and practical multiband or band-selectable operation. These systems combine more than a whip: the feedpoint, loading or matching method, mount, radial or counterpoise arrangement, coaxial path, and tuning procedure all contribute to the finished antenna.

Compare the systems by frequency coverage, setup method, required tuner, radiator and coil arrangement, included components, power and duty cycle, deployed height, radial footprint, mounting choices, transport size, and environmental limits. A vertical radiator alone is not a complete antenna, so use the Vertical Radiators collection when you specifically need an element or extension. For a complete system, begin with the operating bands and field conditions, follow the documented configuration, deploy the return-path conductors correctly, and verify resonance or tuner range at low power.
