Choose from Tuners
Tuners contains remote and field tuning, matching, analysis, and control products used to help the transmitter see an acceptable impedance within the equipment's published range. These devices can make a documented antenna more flexible, but they do not change the physical radiation efficiency, power capacity, or structural limits of the antenna system.
Match the tuner to the intended frequency range, impedance range, RF power, operating mode and duty cycle, tuning-power requirement, supply voltage and current, control method, connector type, grounding, weather exposure, and installation location. Digital, AM, FM, and other high-duty-cycle modes can require substantially lower power than intermittent voice operation. Retune at low power whenever the band, frequency, or antenna configuration changes. A successful match at the radio does not prove that every connected component is within its limit; the lowest rating in the complete system remains controlling.
