BLF-12100AS (LiFePO4) KIT w/ CHARGER

This 14.6VDC, 20A AC-to-DC Charger, Model BPC-1520A, is an AC-to-DC charger for use in charging 12V LiFePO4 batteries.  This charger has Powerpole Connectors.  Please ensure that the LiFePO4 batteries include a PCM/BMS when using this particular charger.  Please note that this charger puts out 20A and is intended for the Bioenno Power 12V, 100Ah and 12V, 125Ah LiFePO4 batteries that can handle the charge current. 

This is a great battery backup system for your home  amateur radio equipment during an emergency!  

Please note that this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger, and not a charger for SLA batteries.

IMPORTANT

In practice if you are not using the battery for more than 3 months, simply top off the battery using the BPC- wall charger every 3 months. You do not need to leave the BPC- wall charger attached to the battery all the time. Simply top off using the BPC- wall charger, the LED light on the charger turning from red to green. The 50% rule is only needed if you will not be using the battery for more than 1 year. In that case, you will need to discharge the battery to about 12.8 VDC and then disconnect the wall charger from the battery and store.
