UGS 2.0 (Universal Guying System) · Masts & Infrastructure
A portable mast, tripod, guying, or infrastructure product that supports a documented antenna load.
Why operators make room for it
Create useful antenna height where the site gives you none
A perfect clearing without a usable tree is only a good antenna site if the operator brought a dependable way to create height.
That is where CHA UGS 2.0 (Universal Guying System) enters the kit. The CHA UGS (Universal Guying System) is the ultimate portable stabilization solution for vertical antennas and masts. Designed for rapid deployment in the field, the CHA UGS provides reliable support for portable HF antenna systems, helping operators maintain optimal antenna performance while protecting valuable equipment from excessive movement caused by wind and adverse weather conditions.
The right infrastructure lets the operator choose the site for radio reasons, then raise a documented load with the required base, sleeve, guying, and power-line clearance.

CHA UGS 2.0
Universal Guying System
The CHA UGS (Universal Guying System) is the ultimate portable stabilization solution for vertical antennas and masts. Designed for rapid deployment in the field, the CHA UGS provides reliable support for portable HF antenna systems, helping operators maintain optimal antenna performance while protecting valuable equipment from excessive movement caused by wind and adverse weather conditions.
Whether you are operating from a POTA activation, SOTA summit, campsite, emergency communications deployment, military exercise, field day event, or your own backyard, the CHA UGS provides the stability needed to keep your antenna upright, secure, and performing at its best.
The system features a lightweight yet rugged design that can be installed by a single operator in less than ten minutes. Three high-visibility heavy-duty stakes, premium guy lines, integrated tensioners, carabiners, and specialized guy rings work together to create a professional-grade support system that is both easy to transport and simple to deploy.
The included Delta Guy Ring supports popular Chameleon Antenna vertical systems including the MPAS 2.0, MPAS Lite, Basic Vertical, CHA SS17, CHA SS25, and the CHA CFM-16. The Mast Guy Ring expands compatibility to larger support structures such as the CHA CFM-34 and CHA CFM-34 HD carbon fiber masts, as well as many other portable masts up to 36 feet tall.
Proper guying not only enables a portable antenna to become self-supporting, but also reduces material fatigue, minimizes excessive swaying, and helps maintain more consistent antenna tuning and SWR performance during changing weather conditions.
Built to the same standards as every Chameleon Antenna product, the CHA UGS is versatile, dependable, stealthy, and built to last.
