Choose coax as part of the complete RF path. Compare cable type, length, connector format, flexibility, loss at the intended frequency, power and duty cycle, bend radius, routing, strain relief, weather exposure, and the need for common-mode control. A longer cable can make placement easier but may add loss and voltage drop when control or power is carried through the system. A choke built into one assembly also has a specific role and location; it should not be treated as a universal substitute for every feed-line problem. Confirm both ends of the connection and follow the antenna and tuner documentation before deploying.
