HF end-fed broadband wire antenna

A simple, rugged way to put a useful broadband HF wire in the air without starting with a complicated antenna system.

Built for a real operating goal

Choose the wire length that fits your property, pack, and operating goals

CHA BASIC Limited Edition gives new and experienced operators a straightforward end-fed HF antenna that can move from the backyard to a field station without changing the basic deployment method.

Choose 30 feet when space and pack size come first, 60 feet for a versatile portable or restricted-property installation, or 130 feet when lower-band reach and a larger site matter. Raise it as a sloper, horizontal wire, inverted V, inverted L, or low horizontal NVIS antenna, add the guide-defined RF return, and use a suitable wide-range tuner.
