Terminated portable HF dipole system

A complete tactical wire system for guide-defined terminated sloping-V and terminated sloping-wire configurations.

Built for a real operating goal

Deploy a broadband tactical HF wire without rebuilding the antenna for every frequency change

CHA TD 2.0 is a complete terminated wire system for operators who value fast band changes, robust field hardware, and repeatable deployment more than the narrow peak efficiency of a single-band resonant antenna.

The kit includes the matched radiator, counterpoise, resistor, feed-line, support, and storage components for the guide-defined sloping-V and sloping-wire configurations. Keep those parts in their documented electrical positions and stay within the current power limits.

  • Frequency1.8–54 MHz
  • TuningA tuner is usually not required in guide-defined configurations
  • Power500 W PEP SSB, 250 W CW, 100 W continuous modes
  • Typical SWRLess than 2:1

Included equipment and documented configurations

Included

  • Two 60 ft antenna wires
  • Two 25 ft counterpoise wires
  • Two resistor units
  • 50 ft coax
  • Support lines, stakes, and storage bag

Documented configurations

  • Terminated sloping-V; 90 degrees is the general starting point
  • Terminated sloping wire using one radiator, one counterpoise, and one resistor
  • Only additional arrangements shown in the guide

Configuration boundary: Do not apply old 1000/500/250 W values. Keep antenna wires, counterpoises, and resistor units in their diagrammed electrical positions. Connector fit does not authorize a new topology.
