Portable broadband HF wire system

A two-wire portable system for four documented field geometries.

Built for a real operating goal

Get four useful HF wire layouts from one lighter portable system

CHA TD Lite 2.0 gives a field operator two 60-foot wires and a compact matching unit that can become an inverted V, horizontal dipole, sloper, or inverted L.

Choose the geometry that fits the available supports and communication goal, then preserve the guide-defined radiator and counterpoise roles for the unbalanced layouts. It is the lighter, non-terminated TD option for operators prepared to use a tuner where the completed installation requires one.

  • Frequency1.8–54 MHz; tuner required on most frequencies and configurations
  • Power500 W PEP SSB, 250 W CW, 100 W continuous modes
  • Typical SWRLess than 3:1
  • RadiatorsTwo 60 ft antenna wires
