COUPLING LOOP · Feed Systems & Loading

A matching, loading, feedpoint, transformer, choke, or antenna-interface component.

Why operators make room for it

CHA COUPLING LOOP: add the radiator or return path the documented system calls for

CHA COUPLING LOOP is a radiator or RF-return component used inside specific documented antenna configurations; it is not automatically a complete antenna by itself.

CHAMELEON ANTENNA COUPLING LOOP offers you the opportunity to replace damaged Coupling Loop for your F-LOOP Antenna, keep a spare Coupling Loop on hand, experiment with different size, or home-brew your own antenna designs. The COUPLING LOOP are the same as furnished with our complete LOOP/BOOSTER KIT. A portable radiator can only perform as a system when RF enters it through the right transformer, loading, feedpoint, or common-mode control component.

CHA COUPLING LOOP becomes valuable when its exact radiator or RF-return role is understood. Confirm where it attaches, which feed or matching component it works with, what support is needed, and whether it serves as a complete antenna, alternate radiator, extension, radial, or counterpoise. That context helps an owner expand a field kit deliberately instead of buying duplicate one-purpose hardware.

Choose it when its specific job removes a real point of friction from the station, and confirm what else is required before ordering. The best next step is always a verified compatible component or documented expansion—not a random accessory that merely looks related.

Operator decision support

Plan the complete setup

See what this product is best suited for, what the documented setup needs, and the boundaries to confirm before deployment.

Best for

A portable radiator can only perform as a system when RF enters it through the right transformer, loading, feedpoint, or common-mode control component.

What else you need

Observe the lowest published power rating of every connected component and the duty-cycle limits for the operating mode.

Compatible with

Match every RF connector, thread, conductor, and ground / counterpoise connection

Limitations
  • Observe the lowest published rating of every connected component
  • Match every RF connector, thread, conductor, and ground / counterpoise connection

What an operator can do

  • Install the component at the documented feedpoint, loading position, or common-mode control location.
  • Observe the lowest published power rating of every connected component and the duty-cycle limits for the operating mode.
  • Verify resonance, SWR, tuner range, connector type, and grounding or counterpoise requirements before transmitting.
Compatibility: Physical fit does not by itself establish RF, power, environmental, or structural approval. Follow a documented completed-system configuration.
