Use the lighter HYBRID base when packed size and weight govern.
The HYBRID-MICRO is the lower-power, approximately one-pound member of the HYBRID family. Its internal 5:1 UNUN supports documented wire and whip configurations from 1.8–54 MHz with a wide-range external antenna tuner.
The radiator, counterpoise, mounting method, tuner, feed line, mode, and duty cycle are part of the completed system. A shared 3/8-24 connection does not by itself establish an approved configuration.
