The Chameleon Jaw Mount has been assembled to offer portable antenna versatility for Chameleon Antenna owners. The mount orientation can easily be changed with a simple 3/16 Allen Key. The mount can also be used for NVIS antenna configuration. 5.25" x 1.375" x 4.625, 1/8" thick stainless steel, 2.625" open. Good portable mounting is not glamorous until the wind rises and the operator realizes the entire antenna depends on it.

"used on field day with a cam tripod and ss25 ft tell, whip did not think the camera swivel mount would hold up the 3/4 wave 6 meter antenna (over 14 ft) vertical, so used the jaw mount held just fine after making shore the allen screw was tight. But wish the jaws would adjust bigger to be able to hook to the fence at the county EOC. larger dia. pipe on security fence."

Wish a better clamp

"Well made. I like the idea that it can hold a vertical antenna as well as a horizontal antenna with the included nut. _x000D_ as a clamp, I'd prefer it to be configurable without having to have extra parts. Meaning being able to use a mechanism to adjust the angle instead of a six screwdriver. _x000D_ The other end is directly welded with a six-pin nut, so the whipping antenna can be directly installed. _x000D_ I think a good clamp should not only be well-made, but should also be convenient to use rather than fussy."

Great design and durability

"This is the second jawmount I’ve purchased. Reason for this is that the first one is fixed at my home qth with the CHA Hybrid mini on the railing of my balcony. And I needed another one for portable operation/grabbag. _x000D_ It is outside for more than a year and it looks like new. No oxidation what so ever. The jawmount is versatile and can be mounted on several structures in different positions. A must have next to the CHA mounting stake. Another great product from Chameleon!"
