MIL WHIP 20F – Limited Edition · Radiators & Extensions

A modular radiator, whip, or extension used inside a documented antenna configuration.

Why operators make room for it

Build more useful antenna from the components already in the system

The difference between a packed component and a working radiator is knowing exactly where that component belongs in the RF system.

The CHA MIL WHIP 20F – Limited Edition is a rugged, heavy-duty 20-foot (6.1 meters) collapsible whip antenna built for demanding field communications. Based on the proven durability of the original MIL WHIP, this enhanced version features 10 precision-machined 24-inch sections , giving you extended height, improved performance—especially on lower frequencies—and the reliability Chameleon Antenna is known for.

Used in a documented configuration, the component gives the operator another practical build option while preserving the electrical, mechanical, and power limits of the complete system.

Best for

The difference between a packed component and a working radiator is knowing exactly where that component belongs in the RF system.

What else you need

Combine it with the specified base, loading, feedpoint, mount, support, and radial or counterpoise system.

Compatible with
  • Physical fit alone does not prove RF or structural approval
  • Shared 3/8-24 fit does not by itself establish RF, power, or structural compatibility
Limitations

Shared 3/8-24 fit does not by itself establish RF, power, or structural compatibility

What an operator can do

  • Use the part as an electrical radiator or mechanical riser only in the position documented by the completed-system guide.
  • Combine it with the specified base, loading, feedpoint, mount, support, and radial or counterpoise system.
  • Treat a shared thread as physical fit only; verify RF, power, and structural compatibility from an approved configuration.
Compatibility: Physical fit does not by itself establish RF, power, environmental, or structural approval. Follow a documented completed-system configuration.
