The Modular Portable Antenna System (MPAS) 2.0 is a concept allowing the radio operator to configure and deploy the antenna system in a variety of configurations to suit the needs of the operator. Some of the possible deployment configurations:

• Vertical Whip configuration using one or both whips
• Horizontal Whip configuration for NVIS operations
• Sloper wire configuration
• Inverted “V” wire configuration
• Inverted “L” wire configuration
• NVIS wire configuration
• Balcony Rail mount using one or both whips
• Vehicle Mounted (Stationary use only)
• Man-Pack Vertical Whip configuration

IT'S IMPORTANT TO WATERPROOF THE CHA MIL EXT 2.0 AND MIL WHIP 2.0 BEFORE PERMANENT INSTALLATION TO PREVENT OXIDATION IN THE WHIP JOINTS

Use  Ideal NOALOX Anti-Oxidant Compound or other similar product to improve the efficiency of aluminum conductor connections. This compound provides additional inner-strand and inner-conductor current paths.
