That is where CHA SS WHIP (58-17-25) enters the kit. Our Stainless Steel Whips are rust resisted steel whips which extend up to 17 feet. Our whips are equipped with a 3/8x24 mounting stud for easy mounting to other Chameleon products such as the Hybrid Mini or Hybrid Micro.
Used in a documented configuration, the component gives the operator another practical build option while preserving the electrical, mechanical, and power limits of the complete system.

CHA SS17 Stainless Steel Whip The CHA SS17 is a rust-resistant, 10-section stainless steel whip that extends to 17 feet and collapses to approximately 25 inches. Its premium stainless steel telescopic sections make it an ideal choice for building collapsible multi-band dipoles, mobile, portable, and base antennas. Features: Versatility: Perfect for travel, DXpeditions, vacations, EMCOMM, first responders, and more. Compatibility: Equipped with a 3/8-24 mounting stud for easy integration with other Chameleon products like the CHA HYBRID-MINI, CHA MICRO, CHA UCM, and CHA JAWMOUNT. Durability: Unique customer stainless-steel base connector (not traditional chrome-plated brass) pinned on the first section for ruggedness, stability under extreme winds, and excellent performance in demanding situations.
