CHA TACYAGI-70 — Field Evidence

Two mission-relevant accounts show how the foldable directional antenna has been used for cadet instruction and operational UHF line-of-sight evaluation.

Portable 400–470 MHz three-element Yagi

A foldable directional UHF antenna for line-of-sight, direction-finding, tactical, public-service, and training work.

Built for a real operating goal

Put a directional 400-470 MHz antenna in the operator’s hand or field kit

CHA TACYAGI-70 is a compact three-element UHF Yagi that unfolds quickly for direction finding, line-of-sight links, training, public-service work, and tactical field communications.

Use vertical polarization for typical FM work or rotate it horizontally for SSB, CW, and applicable digital modes. Its factory-set match and foldable structure keep setup fast while the directional pattern helps the operator find a signal, reject an unwanted direction, or extend a clear UHF path.
