BLF-1220AS KIT (12V, 20Ah LFP Battery) w/CHARGER · Power
A battery, charger, controller, solar panel, filter, or station-power component.
Why operators make room for it
Keep the station alive after the nearest outlet disappears
A remote antenna site is only useful for as long as the radio, accessories, and charging plan can keep working there.
That is where BLF-1220AS KIT (12V, 20Ah LFP Battery) w/CHARGER enters the kit. Includes built-in PCM (protection circuit module) which provides internal cell balancing and management, protection from overcurrent, undervoltage (overdischarge), overvoltage and short circuiting, and has integrated charging circuitry Available 110VAC / 220 VAC Charger.
For the operator, the goal is quiet and predictable endurance: enough correctly managed energy for the real radio load, with polarity, current, chemistry, charging, and protection handled deliberately.

Complete product details
The Bioenno Power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery Model BLF-1220AS is a state-of-the-art 12V 20Ah battery. Meeting and exceeding the power of a 12V 40Ah SLA at only 7 lbs. for our unit as opposed to 33 lbs. for an SLA, this AS variant offers reliable quality performance in a standard ABS form factor designed to be the ultimate drop-in solution. Ideal for hard use, this ABS version has seen extensive use in science, powering critical avionics on sail planes with additional applications covering e-bikes, e-scooters, radio communications and audio-visual. The battery has an integrated PCM (protection circuit module) which provides complete internal cell balancing, complete integrated protection along with integrated charge circuitry and boasts no EMI/RFI (Electromagnetic Interference/Radio-Frequency Interference) and is absolutely quiet! This unit has available a 110VAC/220 VAC AC-to-DC charger, that provides 4A with Alligator Clips. Please note that this battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger, and not a charger for SLA batteries.

IMPORTANT
In practice if you are not using the battery for more than 3 months, simply top off the battery using the BPC- wall charger every 3 months. You do not need to leave the BPC- wall charger attached to the battery all the time. Simply top off using the BPC- wall charger, the LED light on the charger turning from red to green. The 50% rule is only needed if you will not be using the battery for more than 1 year. In that case, you will need to discharge the battery to about 12.8 VDC and then disconnect the wall charger from the battery and store.
