CHA 34HD REDUCER KIT Compatibility and System Integration

The CHA 34HD REDUCER KIT is the missing mechanical interface between the narrower CFM-34HD base and the 3-inch CHA PORTA-MOUNT family. It keeps the mast centered and supported instead of letting a high-leverage field system ride loosely in an oversized mount.

Product Compatibility CHA 34HD REDUCER KIT Reviewed 2026-07-14
Fit is only the first check: The CHA 34HD REDUCER KIT is the missing mechanical interface between the narrower CFM-34HD base and the 3-inch CHA PORTA-MOUNT family. It keeps the mast centered and supported instead of letting a high-leverage field system ride loosely in an oversized mount.

Documented relationships

  • The approved relationship is CFM-34HD plus the complete current reducer/sleeve kit plus a compatible CHA PORTA-MOUNT.
  • It is not a general reducer for unrelated masts.
  • A similar diameter does not prove structural approval.
  • Every mast-specific antenna, extension, and guying limit remains in force.

Interfaces to verify

  • Use it only for the documented CFM-34HD to PORTA-MOUNT path.
  • The current kit uses an upper two-piece sleeve, a lower stabilizer, stainless hardware, and the mast protective/bottom cap identified in the mast guide.
  • Choose the PORTA-MOUNT separately for the actual vehicle or structure.
  • The reducer does not increase the mast load, height, or wind rating.

What compatibility does not mean

  • A matching thread or tube diameter does not prove structural capacity.
  • A stable mount does not replace the required feed, matching, radiator, or RF-return components.
  • An adapter does not transfer the highest rating of one product to the rest of the chain.
  • Use the exact antenna, height, load, wind, and guying limits from every current guide.
Use the current CHA 34HD REDUCER KIT instructions.
