CHA F-LOOP 3.0 Troubleshooting Guide

Restore one complete radiator arrangement, remove any external tuner, inspect loop joints and coupling loop, verify feed line and connectors, move away from nearby metal, tune at low power, and substitute a known-good coax before condemning the tuning box.

Start with the operating decision: Restore one complete radiator arrangement, remove any external tuner, inspect loop joints and coupling loop, verify feed line and connectors, move away from nearby metal, tune at low power, and substitute a known-good coax before condemning the tuning box.

How the system behaves

The exact tuning box, selected Standard, Double, Booster, or Rigid radiator, proprietary coupling loop, mast/support, 12-foot RG-58 feed line with integrated choke, and final orientation form the antenna. Standard, Double, Booster, and Rigid arrangements cover different frequency ranges.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

High circulating voltage and current exist in a tuned loop. Remove RF before touching or adjusting it, keep the loop clear of people and metal, protect the non-water-resistant assembly from weather, and inspect tuning, loop joints, coupling loop, support, and coax before reuse.

Use this field sequence

Assemble only one guide-defined radiator arrangement, support the loop without distorting it, keep people and conductors clear, connect the feed line, set the tuning capacitor before applying power, and rotate the completed antenna for the required signal or noise null.
