Why the complete system matters
The guide identifies this as the horizontal NVIS configuration. Lower, horizontal placement increases useful high-angle radiation for regional work; it is a different controlled geometry from the normal sloper.
The assumption that breaks it
Do not convert the 63-foot or 130-foot system into a generic flat wire with arbitrary height, feed routing, or nearby metal and then apply the reviewed pattern as though nothing changed.
Build or deploy it correctly
Select two safe supports, maintain the specified approximate height and wire clearance, strain-relieve the Line Winder Assembly, connect approved coax without mechanical load, raise evenly, then measure in final geometry.
Use the exact product guide, electrical topology, geometry, materials, loading, feed, return path, support, and environment. Mechanical fit or a visually similar arrangement does not establish electrical equivalence.
