Start with the operator’s decision: The next CHA LEFS 8010 deployment starts with how the previous one was recovered.

How this exact system works

Disconnect the radio first, lower the Line Winder Assembly, disconnect and roll the coax without twisting it, wind the radiator and paracord into their separate areas, remove dirt, inspect loading coil, wire, connectors, and strain points, then store the complete kit together.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

The guide lists 80 meters only with the extension; 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 meters are the other specified bands. Published limits are 500 W SSB, 250 W CW, and 150 W digital. Installed height and nearby objects can substantially change SWR.

Use this field sequence

Quarantine damaged parts, label settings and matched components, update the kit inventory and field record, and do not return the system to service until the exact fault is corrected.

Source boundary

CHA LEFS 8010 Operator’s Manual, updated 5/11/2022. The exact current product, components, band, feed, support, geometry, and operating limits control; physical fit does not establish compatibility.
