Start with the operator’s decision: The useful answers about CHA LINK-D begin with the exact product and current guide—not with a connector, family name, or remembered setup.

How this exact system works

CHA LINK-D converts the LEFS 4010 End Assembly into one selectable resonant dipole for 40, 30, or 20 meters—three field bands without carrying three feed points.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Both linked wire legs connect to the wing nuts marked DIPOLE and the coax connects to the BNC marked DIPOLE. Both sides must use the same selected link state; the end-fed connection is a different antenna path. One band is selected at a time. The guide does not authorize hot switching, mixed link states, simultaneous multiband use, or compatibility with an unlisted feed point.

Use this field sequence

Before acting on an answer, confirm the current guide revision, exact included parts, intended band and mode, completed geometry, support, feed line, and safety boundary.
