Start with the operator’s decision: CHA LINK-D converts the LEFS 4010 End Assembly into one selectable resonant dipole for 40, 30, or 20 meters—three field bands without carrying three feed points.

How this exact system works

Both linked wire legs connect to the wing nuts marked DIPOLE and the coax connects to the BNC marked DIPOLE. Both sides must use the same selected link state; the end-fed connection is a different antenna path. Treat the product as a complete documented system: feed point, radiator, return or balanced second leg, feed line, support, geometry, power, and environment all matter.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

One band is selected at a time. The guide does not authorize hot switching, mixed link states, simultaneous multiband use, or compatibility with an unlisted feed point.

Use this field sequence

Choose the band on the ground, set and inspect both legs identically, then deploy horizontally or as an inverted-V with safe center support, end clearance, and feed-line strain relief.

Source boundary
