CHA LINK-D Selection and Comparison Guide

Select CHA LINK-D because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

Product Selection CHA LINK-D Reviewed 2026-07-14
Start with the operator’s decision: Select CHA LINK-D because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

How this exact system works

Choose LINK-D for 40/30/20. Choose LINK-D15 for 40/20/15 or WARC-D for separate 30/17/12 dipoles.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

CHA LINK-D converts the LEFS 4010 End Assembly into one selectable resonant dipole for 40, 30, or 20 meters—three field bands without carrying three feed points. One band is selected at a time. The guide does not authorize hot switching, mixed link states, simultaneous multiband use, or compatibility with an unlisted feed point.

Use this field sequence

List required bands, power and mode, carried weight, supports, footprint, setup and band-change time, tuner needs, weather, public access, and recovery constraints; then compare complete documented systems.

Source boundary

CHA LEFS 4010 User Guide 250609. The exact current product, components, band, feed, support, geometry, and operating limits control; physical fit does not establish compatibility.
