CHA LINK-D15 Engineering and Performance Guide

CHA LINK-D15 performance comes from the complete current path and installed geometry; matching is only one part of the result.

Engineering Reference CHA LINK-D15 Reviewed 2026-07-14
Start with the operator’s decision: CHA LINK-D15 performance comes from the complete current path and installed geometry; matching is only one part of the result.

How this exact system works

Two linked legs use the DIPOLE wing nuts and the feed line uses the DIPOLE BNC. The link state must match on both sides and the supported configurations are horizontal or inverted-V.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

This is not LINK-D with an extra band and it is not simultaneous multiband hardware. Do not hot-switch or infer compatibility from shared BNC and terminal hardware.

Use this field sequence

Record frequency, resistance and reactance, geometry, height, feed line, ground, nearby structures, power and mode. Change one variable at a time and never translate a low SWR into an efficiency or range claim.

Source boundary

CHA LEFS 4010 User Guide 250609. The exact current product, components, band, feed, support, geometry, and operating limits control; physical fit does not establish compatibility.
