CHA LINK-D15 Selection and Comparison Guide

Select CHA LINK-D15 because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

Product Selection CHA LINK-D15 Reviewed 2026-07-14
Start with the operator’s decision: Select CHA LINK-D15 because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

How this exact system works

Choose LINK-D15 for 40/20/15; choose LINK-D for 40/30/20 or WARC-D for dedicated 30/17/12 pairs.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

CHA LINK-D15 gives the LEFS 4010 End Assembly a selectable resonant dipole for 40, 20, or 15 meters when those three popular bands match the activation plan. This is not LINK-D with an extra band and it is not simultaneous multiband hardware. Do not hot-switch or infer compatibility from shared BNC and terminal hardware.

Use this field sequence

List required bands, power and mode, carried weight, supports, footprint, setup and band-change time, tuner needs, weather, public access, and recovery constraints; then compare complete documented systems.

Source boundary
