Start with the operator’s decision: CHA MCC 2.0 is the adjustable loading element that lets an operator build documented resonant portable verticals from MPAS READY parts rather than buying another complete fixed-band antenna.

How this exact system works

It is a component, not a complete antenna. A supported build still needs the named feed point, fully extended documented whip, base and support, CHA SS INSULATOR where specified, artificial RF return, feed line, and analyzer-guided coil setting. Treat the product as a complete documented system: feed point, radiator, return or balanced second leg, feed line, support, geometry, power, and environment all matter.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

The current PRV guide documents the specified whip path and does not authorize SS25. Mechanical fit, a plausible coil position, or a low tuner reading does not establish a supported configuration.

Use this field sequence

Assemble one named PRV/MCC recipe, place the coil and whip exactly as documented, deploy the required radials or counterpoise, and use the guide setting only as a starting point before final analyzer adjustment.

Source boundary

CHA PRV 2.0 User Guide 260504 and current MPAS READY records. The exact current product, components, band, feed, support, geometry, and operating limits control; physical fit does not establish compatibility.
