Start with the complete system: Band setup for the CHA MCC 2.0 begins with the exact radiator and loading position. The current PRV 2.0 guide documents seven primary configurations; it does not publish one universal coil chart for every whip.

What the product controls

With the SS58, the guide gives initial 40–10-meter coil heights and counterpoise arrangements. MIL WHIP arrangements cover documented 60–17-meter cases. The base-loaded SS17 covers 75–30 meters with the coil and 20–6 meters by whip length with the coil fully down.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Band Keys are starting aids for SS58 base- and center-loaded cases, not calibrated settings for the MIL WHIP, SS17, an SS25, or an improvised stack. Site height, radial layout, and ground move the final resonance.

Use this field sequence

Select configuration first, reproduce its counterpoise count and length, start from its guide value, sweep a narrow range at low power, move the tuning tube one winding at a time, and lock it finger-tight after resonance is verified.
