CHA MCC 2.0 Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot an MCC 2.0 vertical by restoring a known guide configuration before changing parts. Most problems trace to the wrong radiator or stack, incorrect coil region, loose connections, radial differences, nearby conductors, or an unknown measurement plane.

Start with the complete system: Troubleshoot an MCC 2.0 vertical by restoring a known guide configuration before changing parts. Most problems trace to the wrong radiator or stack, incorrect coil region, loose connections, radial differences, nearby conductors, or an unknown measurement plane.

What the product controls

Begin with the exact configuration table, fully extend or set the whip as directed, deploy the correct counterpoise count and length, and use the guide’s coil value only as a starting point. Fine tuning is always installation-specific.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Do not chase SWR by adding random ground wires, substituting an SS25, moving several components, or overtightening the lock knob. A station-end sweep also includes feed-line transformation and loss.

Use this field sequence

Inspect and hand-tighten the stack, confirm the analyzer calibration and reference plane, sweep around the target, move the coil one winding at a time, change one variable per test, and record the final geometry and setting.
