- Start from a documented vertical or wire configuration.
- Use only a verified clamp or support relationship.
- Keep every component inside a controlled fall zone.
- Preserve the specified counterpoise rather than attaching to building metal.

Temporary deployment may be easier to approve and remove than a permanent installation, but it is not automatically permitted.
Read the site before opening the bag
Test at low power and expect nearby metal to shift the installed behavior. Keep records for the exact balcony and position.
Common ways this goes wrong
- Clamping to a railing without load approval.
- Dropping wire or counterpoise outside the property boundary.
- Using a conductive railing as an assumed RF return.
- Leaving the system unattended.
