CHA UGS 2.0 Compatibility and System Integration

CHA UGS 2.0 is the field guying kit that turns a swaying whip or mast into a controlled three-line support. It includes 30 ft guy lines, 15 in stakes, tensioners, and the ring system needed for documented small-diameter verticals and larger CFM masts.

Product Compatibility CHA UGS 2.0 Reviewed 2026-07-14
Fit is only the first check: CHA UGS 2.0 is the field guying kit that turns a swaying whip or mast into a controlled three-line support. It includes 30 ft guy lines, 15 in stakes, tensioners, and the ring system needed for documented small-diameter verticals and larger CFM masts.

Documented relationships

  • The Delta and Mast Guy Rings are not interchangeable merely because either can touch a mast.
  • The Mast Guy Ring is documented for 24-26 mm sections and the guide height limits.
  • Guying stabilizes a supported antenna; it does not increase the antenna or mast load rating.
  • Use the antenna and mast guides together when either imposes a stricter height or guying rule.

Interfaces to verify

  • Use the Delta Guy Ring for the documented MPAS 2.0, MPAS Lite, BV, SS17, SS25, and CFM-16 path.
  • Use the Mast Guy Ring for CFM-34, CFM-34HD, or an appropriate 24-26 mm mast section below 25 ft on a mast no taller than 36 ft.
  • Plan a guy radius around 60-100 percent of the ring height as the guide describes.
  • Allow one operator under 10 minutes only after the site and complete system are practiced.

What compatibility does not mean

  • A matching thread or tube diameter does not prove structural capacity.
  • A stable mount does not replace the required feed, matching, radiator, or RF-return components.
  • An adapter does not transfer the highest rating of one product to the rest of the chain.
  • Use the exact antenna, height, load, wind, and guying limits from every current guide.
Use the current CHA UGS 2.0 instructions.
