Start with the complete system: The URT1 Coupler Unit belongs at the operating position between the transceiver and the protected coax to the outdoor Tuner Unit. It injects power and control without radio-specific control cables.

What the product controls

Connect the radio to TRANSMITTER, the direct outdoor run to TUNER, and a correctly polarized 12–14 VDC, 1 A supply to the Coupler. Put amplifiers, meters, or switches only on the transceiver side if their own limits permit.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Reversing the two coax ports or applying the wrong voltage can prevent tuning or damage equipment. The green indication confirms power at the Coupler, not that the antenna system is safe or correctly matched.

Use this field sequence

Power everything off, label both coax runs, verify DC polarity and cable routing, connect in guide order, turn on the Coupler, use 0.5–15 W for the tune cycle, and confirm the result before increasing power.
