How the system behaves
Feed-point matching can outperform station-end matching on a difficult broadband radiator, but URT1 adds tuner power/control, weather exposure, support load, return-path design, and service complexity. It is not the simplest choice when a resonant antenna already fits the mission.
The boundary that prevents mistakes
Begin with 0.5–15 W tuning power and the documented tuner sequence. A successful match confirms tuner range at that moment; it does not prove radiation efficiency, pattern, current control, structural safety, or repeatability after geometry changes.
Use this field sequence
Select one documented URT1 application, mount the compatible tuner securely, keep cable loads off its connectors, connect the exact radiator and RF return, route RF/control conductors as shown, weather-protect the complete assembly, then energize it only after inspection.
