CHA URT1 MB Troubleshooting Guide

Separate mechanical from RF faults. First prove the mount and tuner are secure; then verify direct URT1 power/control, feed line, exact radiator and return, isolation, and tuner sequence. Do not blame the MB for a mismatched or unsupported electrical recipe.

Start with the operating decision: Separate mechanical from RF faults. First prove the mount and tuner are secure; then verify direct URT1 power/control, feed line, exact radiator and return, isolation, and tuner sequence. Do not blame the MB for a mismatched or unsupported electrical recipe.

How the system behaves

URT1-MB is a mount equipped with a rod and 3/8-24 interface. It is designed to hold CHA URT1; it is not a feed/matching unit, tuner, transformer, or complete antenna. The remote tuner and complete electrical path remain separate required components.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Remove RF and tuner power before touching the mount or radiator. Inspect the rod, threads, fasteners, tuner retention, cable strain relief, support stability, isolation boundary, and public clearance; lower the system when wind or load is uncertain.

Use this field sequence

Attach it to the supported mount or structure, carry tuner and cable loads through the intended mechanical path, install the exact documented radiator, return, isolation, feed, and control parts, then inspect leverage and clearance before energizing the tuner.
