What the product controls

For a single wire, use the beehive output and the documented ground or counterpoise connection. For a coax-fed antenna, connect its feed line to ANTENNA and leave the beehive empty. Weather-seal outdoor coax connections.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

An amplifier, switch, meter, diplexer, arrester, or other inline device between the two URT1 units can interrupt or short the bias-T path, damage the tuner, and void the intended connection architecture.

Use this field sequence

Mount the Tuner securely with connector drainage and service access, verify the protected coax for shorts before connection, keep optional station devices on the transceiver side of the Coupler, then power and tune at low level.
