CHA WARC-D Engineering and Performance Guide

CHA WARC-D performance comes from the complete current path and installed geometry; matching is only one part of the result.

Engineering Reference CHA WARC-D Reviewed 2026-07-14
Start with the operator’s decision: CHA WARC-D performance comes from the complete current path and installed geometry; matching is only one part of the result.

How this exact system works

It contains three separate single-band wire pairs—not one linked or simultaneous three-band radiator. The selected pair attaches to the DIPOLE wing nuts and uses the DIPOLE BNC feed.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

Never mix legs from different pairs or call WARC-D LINK-D. Current privileges, band plans, propagation, and site rules remain operator responsibilities.

Use this field sequence

Record frequency, resistance and reactance, geometry, height, feed line, ground, nearby structures, power and mode. Change one variable at a time and never translate a low SWR into an efficiency or range claim.

Source boundary
