CHA WARC-D Selection and Comparison Guide

Select CHA WARC-D because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

Product Selection CHA WARC-D Reviewed 2026-07-14
Start with the operator’s decision: Select CHA WARC-D because its operating tradeoffs fit the job, not because one specification wins a comparison.

How this exact system works

Choose WARC-D for dedicated 30/17/12 operation; choose LINK-D or LINK-D15 when their linked band sets better match the plan.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

CHA WARC-D gives LEFS 4010 owners three dedicated resonant dipoles for 30, 17, and 12 meters when a focused WARC-band antenna is more useful than forcing a tuner to solve every band. Never mix legs from different pairs or call WARC-D LINK-D. Current privileges, band plans, propagation, and site rules remain operator responsibilities.

Use this field sequence

List required bands, power and mode, carried weight, supports, footprint, setup and band-change time, tuner needs, weather, public access, and recovery constraints; then compare complete documented systems.

Source boundary
