Installing the CHA F-LOOP Indoors

An indoor F-LOOP 3.0 installation trades outdoor space for a more complicated RF environment. It can work well for existing owners when the loop has clearance, stable support, and room to rotate.

What matters in the field: An indoor F-LOOP 3.0 installation trades outdoor space for a more complicated RF environment. It can work well for existing owners when the loop has clearance, stable support, and room to rotate.

What the operator is controlling

Keep it away from occupants, pets, wiring, metal furniture, reinforced walls, windows with conductive coatings, routers, chargers, and switching supplies. The system must remain dry and operator-accessible.

Where people get into trouble

Indoor tuning can change when a person moves, a door opens, or electronics switch state. Do not treat one successful match as proof of exposure safety or immunity from RFI.

A repeatable field method

Survey several positions at receive-only and low power, tune in the final position, monitor local electronics and SWR, reduce power as needed, and never operate where the loop can be touched.

Product boundary

These F-LOOP instructions preserve the documented discontinued CHA F-LOOP 3.0 system for existing owners. They do not transfer hardware, tuning, power, or compatibility claims to the separate pre-production CHA F-LOOP 4.0.
