Understanding the CHA MCC 2.0 Design Philosophy

The CHA MCC 2.0 is a continuously adjustable loading coil for documented resonant verticals. It lets one MPAS READY parts set trade packed size, installed height, tuning access, and lower-band efficiency without pretending every 3/8-24 stack is an antenna.

Start with the complete system: The CHA MCC 2.0 is a continuously adjustable loading coil for documented resonant verticals. It lets one MPAS READY parts set trade packed size, installed height, tuning access, and lower-band efficiency without pretending every 3/8-24 stack is an antenna.

What the product controls

The current PRV 2.0 guide documents base- and center-loaded arrangements with the SS58, MIL WHIP, and SS17. Coil position changes current through the radiator, so center loading can outperform a shorter base-loaded build on lower bands.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

The MCC 2.0 is not a complete antenna and does not establish a band by itself. The radiator, conductive extensions, feed point, mount, isolation, radial system, coil setting, and ground environment are one electrical system.

Use this field sequence

Choose a named guide configuration, assemble its exact stack, fully extend or shorten the named whip only as directed, deploy the stated counterpoise, set the initial coil height, then tune the installed antenna with an analyzer.
