Why the WARC Bands Matter

The WARC-D gives LEFS 4010 owners resonant choices on 30, 17, and 12 meters, filling operating space between the more familiar 40, 20, 15, and 10-meter bands.

Start with the operating choice: The WARC-D gives LEFS 4010 owners resonant choices on 30, 17, and 12 meters, filling operating space between the more familiar 40, 20, 15, and 10-meter bands.

How the documented system works

Those additional bands can give an operator another propagation option when the usual band is crowded, quiet, or poorly matched to the path. WARC-D provides one dedicated dipole pair for each band.

The boundary that prevents mistakes

No band guarantees a quiet channel or a specific path. Current band plans, license privileges, propagation, local noise, and operating practices still control what is usable at a given time and place.

Use this field sequence

Check current privileges and conditions, select the matching WARC-D pair, deploy it in a repeatable geometry, verify SWR, and compare actual signals before deciding which band serves the mission.
