The CHA FEATHER EXTRA WIRE is a complete 65 ft spare or replacement wire assembly designed specifically for the CHA LEFS FEATHER EFHW. It arrives with the integrated End Insulator and Line Winder system and an S-Carabiner, rather than as an unfinished length of loose wire.
Operators can keep one assembly in reserve, dedicate one to another field kit, or replace the original radiator without improvising attachment and storage hardware.

Chameleon Antenna’s proprietary 26 AWG field wire uses tinned-copper conductors braided around a Kevlar reinforcement core beneath a PTFE outer jacket. It is manufactured specifically for Chameleon Antenna rather than sourced as ordinary retail hook-up wire.
The Kevlar core carries mechanical tension and helps reduce conductor stretch and fatigue. The PTFE jacket provides resistance to abrasion, heat, moisture, and demanding field handling, while the supple, low-memory construction helps the radiator deploy cleanly and resist kinking.
At only 65 ft, the complete assembly remains compact enough for a POTA, SOTA, EMCOMM, travel, or emergency field kit. The high-visibility orange finish also makes the wire easier to manage and recover when an activation ends.
